"Now I see that our lives have changed
For the better I suppose after the words we exchanged
And if you come near,
For the better I suppose after the words we exchanged
And if you come near,
The memories will come back
All that I left behind
Of which I don't keep track
So I say this and I say it well,
Don't think you can re-cast a spell
Save your breath, for someone who will listen,
Save your breath, save it for the saints
Now I see that our looks are different
For the better I hope coz we weren't coherent.
And if you come near,
The smiles will fade away.
All that I had then,
All that I left behind
Of which I don't keep track
So I say this and I say it well,
Don't think you can re-cast a spell
Save your breath, for someone who will listen,
Save your breath, save it for the saints
Now I see that our looks are different
For the better I hope coz we weren't coherent.
And if you come near,
The smiles will fade away.
All that I had then,
Will never be the same again.
So you shall hear me, and hear me well
Don't think I can't break out of my shell.
Save your excuses, for someone who will fall
Save them, save them for the saints.
Save your words, you may run out of them
Save them, speak them for the saints."
So you shall hear me, and hear me well
Don't think I can't break out of my shell.
Save your excuses, for someone who will fall
Save them, save them for the saints.
Save your words, you may run out of them
Save them, speak them for the saints."
so...that was it folks...I hope you liked the poem...now that I'm thinking better..I wrote it in the point of view of a person who doesn't want to re-live his past/memories...I guess it makes sense :P
